I'm trying to figure out how to create a training simulation with an interactive command prompt. The application I'm teaching is command-line based only with no GUI. I notice that I can have a text bar up top, above the command prompt window, but I want the students to type right at the place they normally would inside the window. If I create a text box it looks totally fake, and I can't even drag it down completely to the bottom of the window to line it up with the prompt.

Any suggestions?

If I understand you correctly, your only option might be to create it yourself. But ... how hard can that be? Create an image of a black rectangle with white letters left-aligned, appropriate to the command prompt and its text display ...

Or have I misunderstood the problem?
