1. Re: Deleted Scratch Disk after upgrade?! What?!?
JSS1138 Jun 19, 2013 8:29 AM (in response to KulorDS)I don't know what's going on for you, but I do see all my old scratch files in the same location as before the update. These are just .cfa, .pek and other files, though. I didn't have any Extracted Audition files before I updated. Still, I wouldn't expect CC7 to erase anything on it's own.

KulorDS Jun 19, 2013 10:31 AM (in response to JSS1138)I wouldn't expect it either, but it happened. I am literally dumbfounded as to how this happened, as I have no automated services on my machine whatsoever, and it happened as I was away from my machine whole it installed CC.
Are there any autorecover files of the scratch disk stored outside of the actual directory, or should I start sending out inconvenience letters to the affected clients?

KulorDS Jun 19, 2013 10:49 AM (in response to JSS1138)Well...f**k me. Just when you think you have covered your bases...three times.
This makes absolutely no sense, and now I'm down 274 hours and 12 minutes in billable time.

JSS1138 Jun 19, 2013 11:58 AM (in response to KulorDS)I just checked my second machine and all previous cache/scratch files are still there, so I'd say what you're seeing isn't normal.

Jack Banatoni Jun 19, 2013 12:07 PM (in response to KulorDS)Even if your SSD C:\ drive is huge, I'd recommend you get a separate drive for project files. If you ever have to re-install Windows, it may help prevent accidentally wiping your project files.
Hope you get it sorted out. Good luck!
