1. Re: Safe margins - additional vertical lines
Steven L. Gotz Jun 21, 2013 7:52 AM (in response to Cavemandude)I can't find a way to shut them off. I checked and they seem to be the 4:3 versions overlaid on the 16:9 versions. You only get the inside set when you create a 4:3 project.
Looks like we need a feature request to add the option to the Project Settings on the tab where you can adjust the percentages you want to use.

Steven L. Gotz Jun 21, 2013 8:00 AM (in response to Steven L. Gotz)I submitted this. Feel free to copy and paste into your own feature request. I get why they did it, but they implemented this feature incorrectly.
*******Enhancement / FMR*********
Brief title for your desired feature:
Setting to turn off 4:3 Title and Action safe margins in a 16:9 project
How would you like the feature to work?
The Project settings dialog box should have a check box to turn them off right under where the percentages are set.
The default should be "Off" with a check box to turn then "On"
Why is this feature important to you?
The darned things are annoying for people who do not plan on ever exporting to a 4:3 file.

They show up for me at all times.
Given the ridiculousness of broadcasters still transmitting anything in 4:3 (Congress needs to step in and say "no" on this one), I'd prefer to have those an option myself.

Steven L. Gotz Jun 21, 2013 8:02 AM (in response to JSS1138)Jim,
I wrote that in a confusing way. Sorry. I meant that you get "only" the inside ones in a 4:3 project, not the outside ones.
