How do I download adobe flash player and exit internet explorer at the same time?

When trying to download adobe flash player, it stops at 50% and says exit internet explorer then RETRY just does nothing. Help

Please try downloading with some other browser like Mozilla firefox or chrome , ideally internet explorer is able to downlaod the flash player completely.
