Downloading problems

When trying to download flash player, it keeps telling me to "close Internet Explorer" but the only thing I have open is adobe.com.  How do I do this?

You must have opened adobe.com on a browser. Be it Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome. So once you see the download starting. You have to close all the browsers.
