??download latest flash???

just did this I thought.  Again, all of a sudden for no reason I can determine I can not view video on internet.  all telling me i need some version of flash.  i did have it at one time.  in add/remove flash 11... is there, but, it shows up no where else.  I have sense removed that.  when I try to download I unclick what ever add on program, google crome, virus protection... and continue.  when download gets about halfway it wants me to turn off explorer.  when I did that I have no internet at all and had to revert back to an earlier computer state.

I'm old and know little tricks so I do not know how to turn off explorer w/o screwing all up.  do you have a solution?

You do not "turn off explorer", but you have to close Internet Explorer - see How to close Internet Explorer and other programs running on Windows?

thx for reply Pat. I have the very same problem as everyone else, loads

halfway and stops asking for me to stop explorer. I did that once and w/o

getting flash to download I had to restore the computer to get access to

the internet. even if I had gotten flash downloaded it would have erased

it when I had to restore. You guy need to come up with something that

bypasses explorer or it doesn't affect it. (probably some lawyer somewhere

creating issues so that he gets the big bucks fault)
