Joe_Zapert Aug 8, 2013 11:58 AM (in response to bob.treitman)You know that's extremely lame, right? You charge for SendNow, and you've got no Acobat integration anymore (sending me to the sendnow website w/o selecting the file doesn't count.) And no Outlook integration, for all intents and purposes, since 2013 has been out for some time. Supporting three year old versions doesn't count for anything.

Bryan.Simonson Sep 17, 2013 2:58 PM (in response to bob.treitman)Bob,
This is unacceptable Office 360 or Outlook 2013 released June 28, 2011. The issue of not supporting an industry standard application is one thing but now Adobe has abandoned the desktop Sendnow application.
What I take from this is:
Adobe does not care about its customers or supporting its applications. Adobe will continue to receive my monthly subscription to CC but nothing more. If I did not have to use your products I would abandoned them all together the same way you left me in the dark.
If Adobe claims to be this cutting edge innovating company only to take the money and run I am glad HTML5 Killed flash and now I know why Steve Jobs loathed the standard and Adobe as a whole. Take the product from start to finish and propose a better service to upgrade to before abandoning the one you have. Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me!

Tracey_A Oct 1, 2013 1:31 PM (in response to Bryan.Simonson)I was able to add the add-in to my Outlook 2013. First, I installed it on another computer that had Outlook 2010. Next I copied the folder SendNowOutlookPlugin to my programs files folder under Adobe, then I double clicked on the vsto file which ran the install, close outlook before installing it.

Didn't work for me with Outlook 2013 on the 64-bit version of Windows 7.
- Double-clicked the .vsto file, then clicked Install. A "successful install" dialog appeared.
- Launched Outlook, clicked on the File menu, selected Options
- In the Outlook Options dialog, clicked Add-Ins
SendNowOutlook was listed under "Inactive Application Add-Ins"
- Still in the Outlook Options dialog, clicked the Go button next to Manage: COM Add-ins
- In the COM Add-Ins dialog, scrolled down to SendNowOutlook and clicked on it
Some text appeared at the bottom of the dialog saying, "A runtime error occurred during the loading of this COM Add-in."
The Outlook plugin is working on my Windows 8 PC because the plugin was already installed when I upgraded to Office 2013. I installed the "Mandatory Update" Adobe has been sending out today for the desktop version of SendNow, but the Outlook plugin on Adobe's site is still two years old.

bbordeaux Dec 2, 2013 8:39 AM (in response to bob.treitman)Any update for this? MS no longer offers Office 2010. I need to send large files and Adobe discontinued the desktop app. We currently have 5 adobe sendnow licenses. Could someone please advise what marketing sense this makes?
