3. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
MarcRené Jun 23, 2013 1:13 PM (in response to LuisMarín)Same problem over here. German Windows 7 64 Bit.
Started Photshop CC, worked fine. Closed Photoshop, started it again and it asked for credentials and after that it went on my nerves with "please update your user data".
Must be extremely complicated to store an activation on a pc... my trust in the competence of Adobe knows no bounds.

4. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
tomniomni Jun 23, 2013 1:19 PM (in response to MarcRené)I just realised, this means I cannot use any of the CC software offline... I tried to test it out and i'm unable to enter my password if i am not connected to the internet... this is bad!

5. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
ralphroberts Jun 23, 2013 5:32 PM (in response to LuisMarín)I called Adobe last Monday about this problem.
Here their reply today:
Hi Ralph,
Thank you for contacting Adobe, you contacted us regarding cloud renewal. We informed to wait for 24-48 hours.
If you have any concerns or any further questions please feel free to contact us again, we are available 24x7.
Thanks,
So, a whole week wasted and I'm pretty sure they do not understand the problem.
Here is the problem. EVERY TIME I try to open Photoshop CC, Premiere CC, After Effects CC, etc., the screen below pops up. This is doubleplus ungood to the max. Does anyone know what the problem is. Obviously (as stated in the first post here) credentials are not being retained.
Please. Anyone solved this? CC is useless with this problem.

8. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
LuisMarín Jun 24, 2013 9:42 AM (in response to Lee_Ann_H)Found a workaround. For now, things seem to work fine again. All programs run properly. I deleted a file and just received an update to the Creative Cloud app (now version 1.0.0.183). So try these steps:
1) Sign out of the Creative Cloud app
2) delete the opm.db file*
3) update to the latest version of the Creative Cloud app.
*On Windows 7, the opm.db file is located here:
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE
*On a Mac, go here:
[Userdir]:Library:Application Support:Adobe
Hope this can help others too.

9. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
LuisMarín Jun 24, 2013 10:31 AM (in response to LuisMarín)For whatever reason, when the Creative Cloud App disconnects from the Internet, CC programs start asking me to sign the "Adobe License Agreement" again.
Just to point out that my login info / status is not properly stored or remembered after losing Internet connection.
I have to sign the agreement every time I launch my CC programs.
(It seems that choosing to run the Creative Cloud "as an administrator", and then login in, solves this issue... I´ll check and post about it).

10. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
alessandro savoldelli Jun 24, 2013 10:41 AM (in response to LuisMarín)Yeah it's troublesome. I've changed administrator and I tried it, but sometimes (when I'm go out of connection) AAM tell me to log in again and again and again.

TLS_Alan Jun 25, 2013 8:03 AM (in response to ralphroberts)Hi Ralph

I am at witts end with it aready,
I spend more time loging into the programs than actually using them...
ITS A JOKE !!!!!

13. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
ralphroberts Jun 25, 2013 12:07 PM (in response to Lee_Ann_H)nothing seems to be working, Creative Cloud simply won't remember credentials from session to session.
this has been going on for a week now. We really could use a solution.
There are other problems with Cc apps also, such as lost presets in Premiere preventing us from opening any of our our previous projects.
But before solving those, we have to be able to reliably open applications.
what is the status on fixing this bug so that I can tell coworkers and our clients?

14. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
MarcRené Jun 25, 2013 12:47 PM (in response to Lee_Ann_H)deleted the OPM.db. After that it seemed to work - until closing and re-opening indesign: "Sign In required".
I want to use this software, not spend several minutes each day to enter mailadress, password and skip the "complete your registration" dialogue.
If I'm not mistaken, I can cancel my subscription during the first 30 days. This choice gets more and more appealing.

15. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
ralphroberts Jun 25, 2013 3:21 PM (in response to MarcRené)we may have to drop back to Adobe 5.5 if Adobe does not get this problem fixed soon.

17. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
Sheilam Jun 26, 2013 2:39 AM (in response to mike_morales)Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the CC Application Manager, then Select Preferences / Apps and look at App language. This apparently defaults to the language of the operating system (which may well not be what you think it is), and if this is not the same as the language of the apps you installed you get the problem of CC thinking you are using trial mode and asking you repeatedly to sign in. In my case I 'use' English (International) apps but the setting in preferences was set to English (North America). If I changed this to the (correct) English (International) the App Manager immediately decided I had no apps installed so I hurriedly changed it back. After a very frustrating 2 and half hours online chat with three Adobe Support assistants it was finally decided that the only solution was to change the App Manager setting to English (International) and re-download and install all the apps. Mad, tedious, time consuming, but appears to have worked. FYI I simply installed over the existing apps, except for Illustrator which I had to uninstal before successfully reinstalling. Depressing and daft solution, but hope this helps.

19. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
LuisMarín Jun 26, 2013 10:33 AM (in response to MarcRené)MarcRené,
Try running the Creative Cloud app as an administrator (even if you have administrative privileges in your account):
1) Sign out and exit the app.
2) Right click the app icon and, from the contextual menu, choose "run as administrator" (or whatever that is in German).
3) Log in again and open a CC program (Photoshop CC or else).
That worked for me (as long as I don't reboot).
Also, make sure you are running the latest version of everything (that includes the Creative Cloud desktop app).
Please post if it works, might help somebody figure out what's going on.

20. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
Jain, Priyank Jun 26, 2013 10:47 AM (in response to LuisMarín)Hi,
Apologies for inconvinence caused due to this. Can you try deleting OPM.DB from steps below and try again.
- Mac OS: You can locate the OPM.db file in the \User\\Library\Application Support\Adobe\OOBE folder. To access the hidden user Library folder, see Access hidden user library files | Mac OS 10.7 Lion. - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/access-hidden-user-library-f iles.html
- Windows: You can locate the OPM.db file in the :\Users\\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE folder. To view the hidden AppData folder, see Show hidden files, folders, filename extensions | Windows XP, Vista, Windows 7. - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/show-hidden-files-folders-ex tensions.html
Also we would like few more details:
- When has this issue started occuring, was this after installation of any specific adobe product.
- On which platform are you seeing this.
- Please do mail me PDApp.log along with details of above on priyjain@adobe.com
- Also we would like to know if after above steps this issue occurs ever again in future.

MarcRené Jun 26, 2013 11:06 AM (in response to LuisMarín)@LuisMarin: Nope. Restarted CC Application as Administrator, started Dreamweaver...guess what... License Agreement. This starts to amuse me.
@Jain, Priyank: you've got mail.

Jain, Priyank Jun 26, 2013 11:31 AM (in response to MarcRené)Hi MarcRene,
Thanks got the logs..
Apologies deleting file wont help in this case.
Can you try quiting Creative Cloud Desktop App (Launch Creative Cloud App->Settings->Quit).
And then launch applications.
This should solve the issue.
Please also do mail me the logs in case this is still not working..

Jain,
so far, for me, things are back to normal: all programs run just fine. I'm not sure what exactly was the fix, but this is what I did:
- Erased the opm.db file.
- Deactivated my antivirus and firewall temporarily
- Signed out of the Creative Cloud app; started it again as an administrator; logged in.
And it worked. Note that only erasing opm.db didn't work for me. It worked until I signed out and logged in again.
I´ll check if the problem is definitively solved and post about it.
- The problem started right after the install of the new CC apps (I was using Cs6, as a Cloud member)
- I'm running on Windows 7, 64 bit

Jain, Priyank Jun 26, 2013 12:37 PM (in response to LuisMarín)Hi All,
Thanks for the confirmation, this would help us in isolating the root cause. I will update this forum once we have a permanent resolution.
However I would like to point out that deleting the file would not be a solution for this issue.

26. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
WarithNiallah Aug 15, 2013 5:16 AM (in response to Jain, Priyank)This has happened to us before and using the Adobe CC Cleaner tool available for download at Adobe always resolves the issue. Make sure you have a reliable internet connection after you re-install the softawre and login with your Adobe ID. This problem appears to occur under one or more of the following situations in our experience:
1. Changing from to Creative Cloud from a single product subscription
2. Changing from one subscription of CC cloud to another (i.e Moving from an expired subscription to say a new subscription under promo pricing or from retail to academic)
3. Changing from Adobe CC Individual for Adobe CC for Teams
4. Lapse in CC subscription and restarting it again
Hope this helps.

27. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
mrjonnywood Sep 6, 2013 3:56 AM (in response to WarithNiallah)I tried all the steps suggested here and on other threads but no luck. After several hours with Adobe Support including them remotely managing my Mac still no luck. I took matters into my own hands and finally solved the issue for good!
Follow the steps outlined in my post here if you're still having issues. I'm on OS X so some of the folders and file locations will be different for Windows users.

28. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
ckutschka Sep 9, 2013 10:10 AM (in response to mrjonnywood)SAME problem for me.. AND Adobe Support says iam the one and only with this problem.... :-(
in my case the 32 bit apps are working fine... the 64 bit apps cant get licensed.
I tried out anything written here. but nothing works for me.

29. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
ckutschka Sep 9, 2013 10:12 AM (in response to ckutschka)iam very shocked about this BAD adobe CC support...

30. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
MarcRené Sep 10, 2013 1:37 PM (in response to mrjonnywood)At least on my system, the problem now seems to be solved. After the update to Photoshop 14.1 failed, I have been fed up with this crap.
Following the suggestions from mrjonnywood I made the following steps:
- complete uninstall,
- running adobe cleaner,
- deleting all the leftover directories
- reinstalling the applications
No nag screens anymore...yet. We will see how long it'll take for adobe to mess it up again

31. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
ckutschka Sep 11, 2013 12:39 AM (in response to MarcRené)this way works NOT for me... i cant and wont deinstall all Adobe apps from my system.
I also use the CS 5 Suite on my system and i should stay there.
this is a problem caused by adobe... and adobe should solve it!
FACT!
i suggest everyone has the same problem to report it via phone to the adobe support..
the told me, that iam the one and only who has this problem
so if you dont report it to adobe .. they will not react and solve it.!
to solve such a big problem by yourself is not our job.. we pay for the sofware each month and
the software should work.

32. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
MarcRené Sep 12, 2013 11:06 AM (in response to ckutschka)of course Adobe should fix it. Preferrably THIS year, but I really doubt it.
I'm not yet sure if our problems are caused by inability, sadism or both. (if you ask me, the answer is "both")
By the way, guess what... had to enter my account data again today.
Good non-work, Adobe.

33. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
ckutschka Sep 12, 2013 11:20 AM (in response to MarcRené)I had a discussion with german support this morning.
The master levelsupport send me a completle wrong solution for the problem.
The supoort guy told me, that adobe knows about the problem..
But we are only !!!! several tousend people of over 2 million subscribers...
Adobe has no big interest to solve this problem
Such an answer sucks!
This is the badest company ever!

34. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
LuisMarín Sep 12, 2013 6:20 PM (in response to Jain, Priyank)I started this post in June. As of today, I have to log in every time I reboot my computer. During work, the CC connection app disconnects randomly. And I have to sign the Adobe License Agreement 5 or 6 times a day. It is totally frustrating. My first year as a subscriber finished and, with it, my half prize promotion... I feel so disappointed paying for a fully functional software and getting this disturbing log in issues.
Hope someone from staff can update this post again, helping the community understand, fix or troubleshoot this. I've had this problem from day one: MORE THAN A YEAR NOW.

35. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
RByf Sep 13, 2013 6:52 AM (in response to LuisMarín)I have been experiencing the same issue for a week now (several months w/o a problem). Adobe online tech support doesn't seem to understand how to fix this. How do we get a phone number to call in?
-
36. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
ckutschka Sep 13, 2013 8:09 AM (in response to RByf)in wich country you are living?
had today another phonecall with a support guy.. but they dont know how to handle this issue...
on the one side they say they know what todo and we users are all silly and cant install the software but they cant find and provide a solution.
after 1 Week of contacting the support they ask me now to send log files to analyse the problem
but only after i now contacted the press office and told that i thinka bout to release an article about this support behaviour of adobe....
I cant understand this...
unbelievable..

37. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
Roger6 Sep 19, 2013 1:56 PM (in response to ckutschka)Hi everyone,
This is amazing, I having the same problem and have indicated so in other similar posts. They just don't want to fix this problems. It has being more than 6 months know and we continue experiencing this problem.
I think they just don't want to fix this problem. I guess it is a problem for who has no reliable internet service. The worst of it is that we are a lot of us with this type of problem. Can't believe they just don't care.
After all this time it should have being corrected. I have had 3 adobe creative cloud updates and the same thing. They just do updates of features but they do not wan't to spend time fixing this issue.

38. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
olena Sep 30, 2013 7:05 PM (in response to Jain, Priyank)All of a sudden, out of the blue today, this stupid issue has happened to me as well. I am not sure why you guys can't get your act together for those of using CC on a Windows machine.
I am a subscriber and have been for almost a year now and as of this evening, my computer thinks that I am using trial versions of Photoshop CC, InDesign CC, and Illustrator CC. It wants me to put in all my credentials all over again and only wants to give me 30 days on the software. Why?
I have tried what you suggested:
1) Logged out of CC
2) Deleted the OPM.db file
3) Logged in as an administrator - and I could see all my software and that it was "up to date" so it recognized me
4) Opened up Photoshop CC - and it did not recognize me as a subscriber, and asked me to finish my registration.
I am on a Windows Machine running Windows 7.
The software is not recognizing my credentials even though they are right there on the screen in CC. I need to know how to fix this immediately. My business relies on me being able to use this software all day, every day!!! Without access I cannot work, I cannot make a living.
I don't think you understand how important it is that you support all your customers and make this subscription service work seamlessly - not just for your MAC subscribers.
PLEASE HELP!!!!

39. Re: Creative Cloud does not remember/store my credentials.
VisualDevelopment Oct 16, 2013 10:19 PM (in response to olena)I did try everything.Neither starting the cc desktop app as admin, the cleaning of some files, new installation, changing the language settings did work out.CC desktop app is still signing me out every few days, start the apps and accept license again and again.Nothing works.
CS6 worked perfectly but CC desktop app does not.At the end of my subscription I will stop it and move to work with software that does work.Adobe does not help even with direct support chat it still does not work.I am tired of this.I pay almost 60euros a month for a software that does not work!!!!
