If I go on vacation or an expedition to remote parts with no wi-fi access, can I pay six months up-front so that I don’t have to phone home to Adobe every thirty days and risk loosing my software and my work?

After paying for the Adobe software subscrption internet connection a required at least once in a month to validate the subscription.
