Invoked when Stage.scaleMode is set to noScale and the SWF file is resized.
Hi, thanks I tried that, I can now get it scaling when a swf is resized but in internet explorer the swf is not resizing when the internet explorer is being resized. Any ideas?
How are you embedding the swf in the html code? For instance, if you have the swf in a tablecell...no scaling. Check your embed and object tags in the html-code.
Cheers for the quick reply, It is the default settings when publishing to HTML from flash, this is the object code.
<object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" codebase=" http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab#version=8,0,0,0" width="850" height="500" id="DigitalArtGallery" align="middle">
<param name="allowScriptAccess" value="sameDomain" />
<param name="movie" value="DigitalArtGallery.swf" /><param name="quality" value="high" /><param name="bgcolor" value="#272727" /><embed src="DigitalArtGallery.swf" quality="high" bgcolor="#272727" width="850" height="500" name="DigitalArtGallery" align="middle" allowScriptAccess="sameDomain" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" pluginspage=" http://www.macromedia.com/go/getflashplayer" />
Sorry my html knowledge is not brilliant
What was I thinking?

Stage.onResize() is used to reposition elements in the swf when the browser is resized.
If you just want to scale you need to set the width and height in de Publish Settings (html-tab) to 100 percent.
Yes, it's now working!!, thanks for your help
