1. Re: PC Build for Video and Photo Editing on $1500-2000 Budget ?
John T Smith Jul 3, 2013 11:18 AM (in response to soloalpinist)PC I built for my wife http://www.pacifier.com/~jtsmith/ADOBE.HTM would do very well for Premiere Elements, plus scroll down a page or two for 3 price/performance level computers for Premiere Pro... these are, of course, MY ideas about what to build, if I was building a new computer for myself... YOUR ideas may wind up being different

soloalpinist Jul 4, 2013 6:21 AM (in response to John T Smith)I don't use Elements... How do the builds you listed stand up to After Effects etc? Isn't RAID always a good idea with Video editing?
Thanks..

John T Smith Jul 4, 2013 7:27 AM (in response to soloalpinist)>I don't use Elements
Which is why I said to scroll down to see 3 builds at 3 price levels
I edit AVCHD without raid, so can't say if raid is "always" a good idea
