Can I licence a trial version with an update code?

Long story short... I have a customer who want to trial CF10 alongside their fully licenced copy of CF9.

If they then purchase a upgrade from CF9 to 10, can I install that code into the CF10 and get a licenced copy?

Or would I have to upgarde the exising CF installation to 10 and then transfer that licence to the trial?

Thanks

Paul.

Hello Paul,

Thank you for your post. Your customer can install CF10 trial along with CF9. When they will upgrade to CF10, they will get an upgrade license key. The same can be used to change the CF server from trial to licensed.

Regards,

Anit Kumar
