cant load flashplayer on vista 32bit

I have suddenly lost flashplayer and have wasted a lot of time reloading. I keep getting a successful load message but then it doenst work. Any ideas?

I’m on Ie 9 . It’s quite a task trying all the stuff in the help notes. But I seem to get nowhere. Incidentally I have mcCaffe virus protect and I have tried it turned off but no difference.

Any more ideas?
