Adobe Flash Player 11

I have installed Adobe Flash Player11 a number of times and told that the installation has been succesful but the when I try to use it I'm told that I need to install Flash Player 11.  What do I need to do to fix this?

I am having the same problem!  It was running fine a few days ago, then something happened. It works fine in Internet Explorer but I can't get it to work in Firefox. Glad to hear I'm not the only one having this problem, I've been working on this problem half the day.
