Cannot use adobe flash player

I have been trying to download adobe flash player. Screen says download was sucessful. When i need flash player to view it says I do not have and gives me another option to download. I use Windows 7 and google. Went thru questionaire and system was find

You mention Google; you mean Chrome?  Flash Player is preinstalled in Chrome; you don't need to install it manually.
