jsligh Jul 18, 2013 2:02 PM (in response to P Spier)You are saying that rather than copying the project folder, I should package to the new location. That would work; however, I thought it was odd that an individual packaged InDesign file will look locally in Document Fonts and Links regardless of the location.
Can you think of a reason that books would not have the same functionality as an InDesign document? I am sure Adobe had a reason. I just can't figure it out.

P Spier Jul 18, 2013 2:17 PM (in response to jsligh)I don't think I've ever needed to package a book, but as far as I know doing so should make copies of all the componenet files and their links, and update the links in the copied files to point to the copied links. It wouldn't be terribly useful, otherwise.
