The dynamic box showing my system shows windows 7 (32 bit).  My system is windows 7 (64 bit).  Does that make a difference?

When trying to view a video it has started freezing at 9 seconds in and ties up the internet (DSL) connection and I have to reboot to unfreeze it.  Is there a cure for that?
