I have installed coldfusion to C:\ColdFusion10. When I run C:\ColdFusion10\cfusion\bin\coldfusion.exe, a terminal appears and immediately exits. Nothing else happens. What does this mean?

If it matters, I'm using the Windows 7 64 bit version.

I get similar results, with the message shown in http://puu.sh/3IlfP.png. I was expecting to see a graphical interface for the software to edit with ColdFusion. Was I running the wrong product?

Hello Steven,

Just adding to Carl's point,

1. Launch Command prompt as Administrator

2.          Browse to cf_root\cfusion\bin and run the following command coldfusion.exe -start -console.

3.          Try to access the CF admin, once the services are started.

In case it gives an error message, please share the same.

Regards,

Anit Kumar
