AMazon prime videos and shutterfly -- need help. Have uninstalled and reinstalled -- what next?

I am running Vista and internet explorer.  Video applications will not run (youtube, amazon prine video, shutterfly slide shows).  This has been happening for 2 weeks.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled adobe flash several times.  Please help.
