Unable to download Flash Player 11

When trying to instal lash Player 11 I get the following message " the user does not have sufficient privillages to install Adobe Flash Player" I have no idea why this is happening. This is my personal Lap top. Can you please explain. I am unable to see almost any video now.

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking one of the following links.

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

It won't go through a download manager and you should be able to install it.

Hi, unfortunately I then get the message, could not be written due to insufficent permission. I have checked my system and I am the administrator and there are no other accounts on it.

Right-click on the downloaded installers and select 'Run as Administrator'.

Download the two installers from C F McBlob's links, and save them to disk, then close all browser windows, right-click on each installer and select 'Run as Administrator'.

Can you post the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash ?

open Windows Explorer and navigate to C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash
open the FlashInstall.log file
select all (Ctrl+A), then copy (Ctrl+C)
paste it (Ctrl+V) here in the forum

Looks perfectly normal; no errors in that log! I do not understand why you get that message.

Maybe I need to look further; can you also post the contents of the FlashInstall.log file in folder C:\Windows\sysWOW64\Macromed\Flash

Followed your instruction and the Video on the page. At first it would not let me delete the files shown. However, I have re-installed and, fingers crossed, it seems now to be working. Thank you for your time and effort.
