trying to install adobe flash player windows 8

i have done everything per instructions to install flash player and still not able to utilize it tried even stand alone and nothing is working.... please help i have a new toshiba satellitec55t-a5222

internet explorer 10 had firefox installed and still wasnt working

IE10 on Windows 8 comes with Flash Player preinstalled; you don't need to install it manually.
