Jon-M-Spear Jul 25, 2013 10:30 PM (in response to CarlisleK)I'm not sure you can. CC applications manager allows you to selectively download apps within the CC suite, but CS6 isn't suddenly going to metamorphose into CS7.

CarlisleK Jul 25, 2013 10:41 PM (in response to Jon-M-Spear)Should I just uninstall cs6 then? Is there a way to completely remove it? When I download cc will cs6 be removed on it's own? Thanks!

shooternz Jul 25, 2013 10:50 PM (in response to CarlisleK)No.
You subcscribe to CC and access the applications you want to use. eg Premiere CS7
No need to uninstall CS6.
You do need to download which of the apps you want though. They reside on your system..not the Cloud.

Mark Mapes Jul 25, 2013 11:01 PM (in response to shooternz)If you use Encore, then you definitely do not want to uninstall CS6, at least not in its entirety. Encore is not included in CC.

John T Smith Jul 26, 2013 8:28 AM (in response to CarlisleK)Do NOT uninstall CS6 if you plan to write a DVD or Bluray
CS6 is the final Encore http://www.adobe.com/products/encore/faq.html
-a workaround for the Cloud http://blogs.adobe.com/davtechtable/
-also http://helpx.adobe.com/encore/kb/encore-cs6-installed-cc.html

If you see the Join option, that will link you to a page where you can subscribe. If you are already a paid member, it will take you to the Creative Cloud member page where there is a tab at the top called 'Download Center' where you will see download buttons for each available app. In any case, you will actually be downloading the Creative Cloud client first, and then you can install the apps you're subscribed from there. Confusing? Yes. But once you have the app manager installed, installing is really simple and straighforward from there.
