Flash Player not installing

I have been attempting to install Adobe Flash Player on to my Toshiba Satellite L450D running Windows 7, each time I try it get's to 50% and stops flashing a message on screen to close all open Windows Explorer windows even if there are none open, it will just not do anything, I am still able to watch videos on Youtube and other website not on Facebook, now I am being told there is no Flash Player at all on the computer even though I have been using it in the past.

I am a bit of a numpty when it comes to chaning a lot of settings, so if anyone can help please save my head from exploding and keep things simple.
