1. Re: Uploading Slides- formatting changes
Sameer Puri Jul 31, 2013 7:33 AM (in response to fairchilr)Hi fairchilr,
This happens when you are using fonts which are not there on Adobe Connect server.
There are a few workarounds available:
1. Buy Adobe Presenter and publish your PPTX to Adobe Connect. This will preserve all your fonts.
2. Convert the PPTX into a PDF and upload a PDF in the share pod.
3. Use a font that is supported with Adobe Connect.
Hope that helps!

fairchilr Jul 31, 2013 7:38 AM (in response to Sameer Puri)Thanks Sameer! This may be a silly question, but where can I find a list of fonts supported by Adobe Connect?

Sameer Puri Jul 31, 2013 8:52 AM (in response to fairchilr)Hi,
Our servers are hosted on Windows 2008 server machines. So the fonts that are there in Win2008 server will be supported on uploading a PPTX file in Connect. Typically, the following list (there may be additions/modifications in the list) has the name of the fonts that are there in Win2008 server machines: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/fonts/product.aspx?PID=160
Hope this helps!

4. Re: Uploading Slides- formatting changes
adob1948 Jun 13, 2014 1:29 AM (in response to Sameer Puri)Thank you for the information that at best I have to use the fonts hosted on Windows 2008 servers.
But the url to a list of fonts shows me
- Arial is there, but Narrow is missing
- New Times Roman is missing
Yes I can work with the naes of the fot set,
but it would easier for me to have a grafical representation of the font sets in European font conventions as abcde...
Do you have for Europe another setup of the Windows 2008 servers?
Thanks a lot
