flash, reader download urls aren't working

I'm trying to install the flash player and reader on my computer (windows 8) but the download urls aren't working. what could be the problem?

that hasn't helped. this is what appears:

ok finally got it to work! apparantly my antivirus blocked the pages.

Just out of curiosity: what is your antivirus system?  F-secure is notorious for blocking any downloads from the Adobe website.
