Please Restart the computer Before running the Download or perform any installation steps,
Run the Cleaner tool
Check the following Link

Rename the OOBE Folder from the different Locations of your computer
Mac OS: /User/<username>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE folder (Rename it to OOBE_OLD)
Windows:
Open Computer : [System drive]:\Users\[username]\AppData\Local\Adobe\OOBE (Rename it to OOBE_OLD)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\OOBE
Download Adobe Application Manager or Creative Cloud Installer
go to https://creative.adobe.com/
1. Login with Adobe ID and Password
2. Go to Download Center
3. Select your adobe Application Software and Click Download - then Download
4. It will download the Creative Cloud Installer -
5. Login to Creative Cloud Installer
6. Click install from App Menu - Choose your Application from the list and click - Install / Try

snw Sep 20, 2013 7:42 AM (in response to Brett N)I have shadowprotect on my macine. and am getting the same message to Close imageready.exe" I do not have this software open I went to task mamnger and it is not running. So if Shadow protect is the problem how do I fix it?

Steven_Zim Dec 19, 2013 2:40 PM (in response to snw)I ran into this same problem and went to Processes but didn't see imageready.exe running. However, then I selected the button at the bottom of the Process window that says Show Processes for All Users and then ImageReady.exe showed up. I killed that process and the installation continued.
