Flashplayer keeps making me update and it doesn't work

I can't view some videos or play games especially on facebook because the flashplayer keeps telling me to update.  Still can't play even after I use the link and update.

sorry didn't realize it posted to here just replied to the email  I generally don't use forums

Its windows and I use the opera browser all the others operate too slow.

If so, what version does it tell you that you have installed: http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/find-version-flash-player.html#main_Find_the_Flash_Player_ver... ?

Im not on that pc right now but I do have the latest version of the flashplayer and opera installed
