Windows 8 - need to upgrade

I am unable to upgrade my flash player in windows 8.

My current version is:

11.3.377

I kept reffered the below page everytime I follow instructions to download.

I followed all of the above but still can't open the file. I assume the problem is because I need to update??

Have you tried running Windows Update to update it? The plugin for IE is now included in Windows 8 Windows Update, and it should update as necessary.
