Flash will not download past Step 1

I don't want to start a DIS CUSS ION. I want some intelligent person to tell me why Flash Player will cease install within seconds of clicking RUN in STEP 1

Well, we're intelligent but NOT psychic. We NEED TO KNOW:

What Operating System are you using? (Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8, Mac OS X, Linux)

What browser are you using?

Sorry about that first post. I was a bit po'd .

XP professional.

Flash was working fine until I installed Mozilla a day or two ago. Uninstalled Mozilla and problem remains.  Trying keep blood pressure down so I have not tried again today.

Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking one (or both) of the following links.

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

Uninstall your current Flash Player plugin(s) from the Control Panel's Add/Remove Programs.

The perform a "Clean Install" of Flash Player (the instructions show Windows 7, but they work for XP as well)
