1. Re: Illustrator CC where is it?
Jacob Bugge Aug 2, 2013 2:23 AM (in response to EDeetor1)EDeetor,
Depending on your OP, have you tried to look in (the equivalent of) Start>All Programs (Win speak)? In other words the list of installed programmes. You should be able to create a shortcut from there to where you want it (or similar in Mac speak).

EDeetor1 Aug 3, 2013 8:33 AM (in response to Jacob Bugge)I tried looking there as well...nothing. Illustrator is not on my computer. I've taken all week to look through every nook and cranny on this machine. Yet the Creative Cloud downloader seems to think I'm "up to date" this is frustrating.

6. Re: Illustrator CC where is it?
EDeetor1 Aug 3, 2013 10:48 AM (in response to EDeetor1)Also....if I try to open any .ai files there is no option for Illustrator, not even under "browse". I opened every file that came with creative cloud and sub folder there is which took me literally a couple hours to do. Not there I'm telling you. This is my only beef with the cloud system. And I really don't want to uninstall all of creative cloud and reinstall. They need to implement an option that allows me to uninstall one program by itself rather than the whole sweet and reinstall it.

Wade_Zimmerman Aug 3, 2013 7:13 PM (in response to EDeetor1)Geek or no geek I wouk dry using the cleaner tool or create a new user account and try to install from thatyuser other wise you are going to have to uninstall everything than remove cache files and application support files etc in order to get this to work something has your user account corrupted.
When you use the cleane tool there is an item called Adobe ID o something like tht5 you might have to remove tha as well.
You must ge rid of the preferences and and plist files in the prefernces folder dump everything adobe and install every thing from a fresh user account you keep your current user account but I would still install from thre new user account.
