Cannot install Adobe Flash Player

Trying to install Adobe Flash Player in Windows IE and receive an error message stating "cannot unzip metafile file" and that the installation failed.  Please help.

Progress bar hangs during download / Unable to connect to server / Unable to download metafile

Reason: The Flash Player installer sometimes has trouble working in some firewall proxy server environments.

Workaround: Download the Adobe Flash Player installer directly by clicking one of the following links.

Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)

Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

Thank you for your reply, unfortunately, I did try this and received the following message:

HAVP - Access Denied...due to a virus being detected...clamd:Heuristics.Broken. Executable.

Any suggestions?
