Creative Cloud won't start (icon stays grey)

      Hi all,

As pleased as I was with all the new tools a couple of weeks ago, so disappointed I am with all Creative Cloud stuff.

I'm using a MacBook Pro and an iMac. I have a paid subscription to Creative Cloud.

On the iMac everything works as promised, but on my MacBook I only have problems.

For starters, the icon for CC on the menubar (the bar on top of every Mac screen) is mostly greyed out, or in other words, CC is not starting at all. When I hover my mouse over the grey icon, a spinning beach ball is shown. And, as many Mac users out there, I hate spinning Beach Balls!!!

So, it seems as if CC won't start.

      But why?

Sure, I can quit this process through the Activity Monitor, but how to restart it?

I tried running 'Adobe Creative Cloud' in my Applications folder but, you already guesed it didn't you, that won't start CC.

      What am I thinking ?!

What's left, is rebooting my MacBook Pro, hoping CC will come up as expected (and I never have rebooted my MacBook so often as since Adobe introduced CC, while I always used to laugh at those windows laptop-users who must do this on an almost hourly basis).

But after rebooting, four out of five times, this won't start CC!!!

I checked my 'Disk Permissions' but they are alright.

      My network connection is alright.

I cán run Photoshop, Illustrator and more but nót Dreamweaver (it keeps trying to startup, but checking 'Force Quit' it says it is not responding, at all, not even after 30 minutes or so).

So thinking it might have something to do with Dreamweaver, I tried to uninstall it, but the uninstaller won't work either (the same 'not responding').

To wrap it up; it's driving me crazy/nuts.

What on earth can be wrong?

Does anyone have a solution that might help me?

p.s.: I also have an olivetree that will only grow new branches from its roots, and nowhere else (the tree looks so silly, as if it is planted the wrong way up). This bothers me also, but I think another forum would be best to post a question about that. But if someone has any suggestions on olivetree growing, I'm more then welcome to hear from you.
