Can i get shockwave flash help

having flash issues! for over a  month now  games keep freezing up or goes very slow with a pop that says shockwave flash not responding, continue or stop plug in. ive done what i was told to do and still not working.

• Operating system version
• Web browser and version
• Flash Player version

11.8.800.94 is the version firefox browser and vista 32bit

My Win7 machine used to do this ALL THE TIME on YouTube.

I uninstalled BOTH Shockwave and Flash Player from the Control Panel>Programs and Features

Then I downloaded the Shockwave FULL installer and the offline Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer) and Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers), and installed them - Shockwave first and then Flash Player(s)

After that I didn't see the "crash" again.
