1. Re: Server behaviours are old school!
MyDreamweaverExtensions Aug 7, 2013 1:06 AM (in response to matthew stuart)This is an ignorant answer. Server behaviors are not a code style, they are (used to be?) a DW mechanism to write repetitive code faster. The code Server behaviors output today is "old school", Server behaviors are a brilliant DW feature and so many DW users do not understand Adobe's decision to dump them instead of updating them...

2. Re: Server behaviours are old school!
matthew stuart Aug 7, 2013 1:42 AM (in response to MyDreamweaverExtensions)Ah, OK, so only DW users know the phrase Server Behaviours then... just as recordset is only a DW phrase.
So, as having learnt to code and build sites mainly from a DW point of view, why are they old school and what is their replacement now the server behaviours panel has gone?
Thanks.

3. Re: Server behaviours are old school!
MyDreamweaverExtensions Aug 7, 2013 2:35 AM (in response to matthew stuart)The mysql PHP extension is being dropped in favor of the mysqli extension. To this day, there is no real replacement for old server behaviors.
