Re:  Photoshop CC - Creative Cloud

When trying to connect to Photoshop Online help - I get the following message:

"The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to to complete your request. - - - - Please contact the server administrator, root@localhost and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error. - - - - - More information about this error may be available in the server error log. - - - - - - Apache/2.2.15 (CentOS) Server at community.adobe.com Port 80".

      1.  I have NO CLUE who the server administrator is.

      2.  I have NO CLUE where / what root@localhost is

      3.  I have NO CLUE what an internal error or misconfiguration is

      4.  How could I possibly know if I have do anything that may have caused an error - especially when I have no idea what the error is

      5.  I have NO CLUE where / what the server error log is

      6.  I have NO CLUE what / where Apache/2.2.15 (CentoOs) Server at community.adobe.com Port 80 is

Most of all - why would Adobe download such an error and expect non-programmers to understand it and fix it.  I'm so fed up! !

Is there anyone who might know what all this is?

Is there anyone out there who might know how an ordinary user could get help with an application  from your website ????????

          HI MyYawrood,

When I go to Help>Photoshop Online Help in Photoshop CC the help page loads up properly. Are you still seeing what you described before?

            No - it went away ! !

Do you know what all that was about?

If you do - I'd appreciate knowing what was happening.  Please answer all the questions that I asked so that I will be better informed.

            Thank you for responding.

              HI MyYawrood,

Glad to hear it went away, it sounds like a hiccup with the server, this kind of thing is also recorded in the server logs and typically flagged for the server administrator. It shouldn't be necessary to pursue further from your side, unless its something you can recreate. I'm sorry you experienced it. I haven't seen other reports from users reporting the same thing, so I think it was an isolated case.

You can also access the help from Adobe.com instead of within the product

For Photoshop CC for example go here:
              http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop.html

There are a lot of help resources for learning the product there.

I got there from here: http://helpx.adobe.com/support.html?promoid=KAWQK#.

There are other product pages like the one for Photoshop one from there.

After signing in on the Creative Cloud webpage at https://creative.adobe.com/ click the Learn button in the top left (requires being a paid member) for various training video tutorials.

and you might explore Adobe TV too at http://tv.adobe.com/

There is a lot of content between these. I recommend just exploring the content for the products your interested to start with.

              Hope that helps,

              -Dave
