    Clicks After Auto Tuning

I was attempting to do an auto tune using just Chromatic tuning, since I didn't know the key signature.  I tried jacking up the attack, and sensitivity just for the kicks, and the result after processing was hearing a LOT of clicks that sounded just like the clicks that happen when you're buffers are too low; which they aren't since they sound fine on other files.  So, it's not a real big deal, but I haven't heard that in my other tuning apps.  Just curious.

Without more info its hard to know but you may be right - the buffers may be 'too low' for this file because the cpu may be working harder with this fx?

            SuiteSpot,

I tried bumping the buffers from 128/Normal (which works fine in all my other DAW apps) all the way up to 512, where I still heard skips and clicking.  I'm just wondering if the AMOUNT of Attack, and Sensitivity has any bearing on that.  I think what I'm going to do is just turn all FX off during actual tracking so I know I have a clean, raw product, THEN add whatever processing I want to after that.  I'm still curious if the amount of Attack/Sensitivity contibutes to the issue.  It would appear to me that once an FX module of any type is activated, that the RAM it occupies would be the same regardless of whatever processing it does.  Far be it for me to know.

I'm no expert but I wouldn't think that the amount of attack & sensitivity would matter

FWIW I never track with fx
