plugin failure

I installed the lastest version of adobe flash player and now nothing works.  I cannot play games or use youtube.  I continue to see "plugin failure". I have a mac 10.6.8

Safari or another browser?

If you go to [User]/Library/Preferences (YOUR library folder - NOT the Mac HD Library folder - hold the Option key when clicking "Go" from the Finder menu") and trash the Macromedia folder from there, then relaunch Safari, it may help.

You need to provide more information; what exactly does "not work" mean?  Also, I didn't even know that there were games on Youtube...?
