I'm trying to watch a video on YouTube, but it says I need Adobe Flash. I have installed and reinstalled, restarted the computer and it still gives me this message.

Need more information. Operating system and browser for a start.

Whoops!!! Didn't know that adding on to someone elses thread would be highjacking it!!!
So sorry, just frustrated.
I will go back to my own thread with my tail between my legs.

Current OS: Windows 8 64-bit (my computer is Intel Core i5)
Google Chrome Browser version 29.0.1547.66m (status: updated)
Plugin Flash Player version 11.8.800.97 integrated in Google Chrome (it updates automatically)
Problem: When I open Youtube website, a pop-up appears on the screen and says that Adobe Flash Player is missing or you need to update this application. It persists after the browser cache is removed (see the screenshot below).
Why I'm using Youtube with more frequency? To post videos which I'm currently recording. The main objecitive of these videos is to prove my abilities on video games played via emulation.
