Why does Flash player 11.8 not work?

I am on a mac book pro OS 10.6.8 flash player 11.8 does NOT work. Sadly, Adobe does not have older installers because the previous one worked fine.

I am having the same problem with the latest update of flash but i use windows 7 with ie 10. I posted my question almost an hour ago and i am the only one that has replied to my own problem. Good luck

Why do you say that?  Every Flash Player back to version 2 is available at http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
