Flash Player Installation problem

I've been having difficulty re-installing Flash Player. I don't get any error messages and I have turned off the pop-up blocker. I just follow the online instructions yet the program doesn't download correctly. When I try to use it, I get a message that Flash Player isn't installed in my computer.

I had Flash Player on this computer before and I don't know why I no longer have it. I can't think of what else to try and I'll appreciate any help you may provide!
