Installer asks me to close Safari, even if it is already closed. HELP!

I've already closed Safari with Cmd+q and even verified there's no process related with Safari opened (in activity monitor). Still, Flash Player installation always gets blocked at 50% asking me to close Safari. This has been happening for months... HEEELP!!
