Installing Adobe Flash on IE8

I am prompted to download Flash and when I do I get a message that flash player is intergrated with IE8 and the latest version is already loaded but I still do  not have it.  Any idea?

Check everything shown there to be sure it's enabled.

Everything is Enabled and when i look at the flash file it shows Not Available

That is false; Flash Player is integrated in IE10 on Windows 8.

What exactly do you mean by "flash file"?

when I go into manage addons the file Shockware Flash Object is not available, I have enabled it but nothing. It will not let me download it becasuse its says I already have it.

Have you checked under 'All add-ons'?

What files do you have in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash ?

What is your Windows version?

I checked all ad ons and flash shows not available and I amon Windows 8

When i click on tools I do not have an option to View on Desktop
