I was prompted to download Flash Player 11.7, I go to download it, and discover that instead of an installer I recieved a completetely useless "downloader". Useless because it absolutely is not going to negotiate the corporate firewall here, which requires user-id/password authentication.
So I spend ten minutes playing musical support pages at Adobe.com and finally find a link to the full installer.
For version 11.6.
REALLY Adobe?
How about putting a link to download the full installer on the download page, and making sure it's up to date? Why is that so hard?

It's posted daily about a dozen times here in the forum.

(Windows)
I usually go to the regular web installer download page:
http://get2.adobe.com/flashplayer/
then cllik on the link there:
"Do you have a different operating system or browser?"
then click on the link that is on thee word "here" in:
"If your operating system/browser combination is not displayed, click here for older versions of Adobe Flash Player."
now you have arrived at the archive page:
http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html
scroll down to where it reads: Flash Player archives
Adobe is so nice to also place teh current version in archive, at the moment that is:
(Released 7/9/2013) Flash Player 11.8.800.94 (159.9 MB)
The zip file contains all versions, so you'll have to dig in.
... right now I have an odd problem myself, so before I resolve that, I don't know if Adobe changed anything, but that's what I always did
