We are publishing a document repository to SharePoint using RoboHelp and when we publish, all of the documents are showing as checked out to the person who published so no one else can see them. Can anyone tell me what setting we have wrong in our publishing process that causes that to happen?

This is how SharePoint works: if you have version control enabled in a library, you must check in a file before someone else can work with them. There are two ways of going forward:

1. Disable version control in SharePoint for the library you publish to. (In the library settings.)

2. Use SharePoints content’s view to check in all published files at once after publishing.
