I have a scheduled task that I have deleted at least 5 times and it keeps re-apppering the next day in the Sheduled task ib the administrator. I also looked in the Neocron, xml file and it appears to be gone right after deleted.
Any help/suggestion would be appreciated.

Hi Stephen,
What is the update level of CF 10? Server details?
Try to use the neo-cron.xml from your backup, modify it (like delete the schedule tasks) and then observe the behavior.
Thanks

Yesterday when I deleted the scheduled task I checked the neocron.xml and neocron.bak files for the the task that was just delete and could not find it. When I looked at scheduled tasks today the job I deleted yesterday was back again. I deleted yet again and checked the files and it was not found. I am willing to bet it will show up again tomorrow.

Let's say you remove the schedule task from neo-cron.xml straight away and save it. Restart the CF 10 server service. What happens when the service is restarted, the neo-cron.xml still contains the schedule task which you deleted or does it appear after a day or so? If you find the same schedule task in neo-cron.xml, does the task name change to uppercase (as this was a bug which is fixed in update 11).
Though you will not face this uppercase issue as you are already on update 11.
Did you find any info related to same in the log?
NOTE : Please do not restart coldfusion 10 service if you are on production.
Thanks

You need to rectify that this issue is related to specific schedule task/tasks or with all schedule tasks. Like if you create a new schedule task, a simple one, say display output or send e-mail, generate excel etc. and then if you delete it, what happens then?
In this way, we will be able to rectify that this issue is not with specific schedule task/tasks.
Do you have admin rights? Also, let's say you use neo-cron.xml from a dev server that do not have any schedule task and if you use that neo-cron.xml, update it with your schedule tasks, what happens then?
Hope that helps
Thanks

I checked this morning and the job has finally disappeared. After investigating it turns out that the admins had to do a restart of the system, That is the only difference between this time and the last 5 or so times.
