X6: Conditional Build tag removes more than tagged area

Hello together,

my wife found another ugly bug in X6. The topic worked fine with X5.

In the following example, one table was marked with a conditional build tag. The following table has no build tag assigned. If the build tag is excluded, the whole text after the first table is not part of the output.

Best regards,
Michael

OK. I have a workaround. You might not like it.

Remove the condition as it is.

Apply it to the text above the table only.

Now apply it to all rows in the table except the last one.

Now apply the condition to the last row.

Done in that order, it works.

Better solution.

Remove the condition as it is.

Apply it to the text above the table only.

Now select all the rows but not the table. To do this start with the cursor in the top left cell and keeping it within the table border move down to the bottom right cell.

That works too. The reason is that it applies the condition to the cells rather than the table.

It looks like Adobe needs to look at the entire confluence of tables and build tags.

A small addition to Peter's advice:

Click once inside the table and go to the Table menu and Select > All cells.
Apply the condition. RH will apply the condition cell-by-cell, the way RH 5 does it when you select the table.
