Hi

In 2012 IE 10, users open websites with videos etc, but always get the we're sorry, your flash needs to be updated.

I see no plug-in for flash to enable etc

I have tried adding websites to the compatibility settings and a few other settings recommended when I did a google search.

What else can I try?

Thanks

By "Windows 2012", do you mean Windows 8?

If so, see http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html

Hi

I mean Windows Server 2012, it is built as a remote desktop session host server, but cannot get any videos to play, always wants Flash.  I cannot install it, it will always take me to this site - http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/flash-player-issues-windows-8.html, again, it's not Windows 8, it's Windows Server 2012 and I have researched that Flash should be intergrated with IE on Windows Server 2012.

Thanks

If I understand Windows Server 2012 correctly, this is the server version of Windows 8, with Flash Player integrated in IE10.

Make sure that the Shockwave Flash add-on is enabled, and that ActiveX Filtering is disabled (at least for Flash sites you visit).

Hi Pat

This is the issue, there is no add-on to enable, even showing all Add-ons.  ActiveX Filtering is disabled.

When I open a flash site or a video that needs playing, I receive the "this website wants to install the following add-on: 'Adobe Systems Incorportated'"

I click Install, Install again, it downloads fine, but receive the installation encounted errors, your IE browser includes the latest version of the Adobe Flash Player built in......

This is under the Administrator login.

Thanks
