Flash Player 11 will not install

I use IncrediMail (IM) 2.0 as e-mailprogramme, Firefox 23.0.1 as browser.

Recently IM "told me" to install FlashPlayer 11. Without it it is no longer possible to open IM.... I tried several times, but each time a "general install error" appeared, when 95% was installed. All previous versions are deleted.

And now I cannot open Im and are not able to view clips in my browser....

OS: Microsoft XP - version 2002 (PC dates back to 2004!) - Pentium 4 2,8 GHz - 768 MB.

What are my options?

During installation (Flash Player Plugin [all other browsers]) my computer froze. In the blue top of the installation-window showed "is not responding". I had to restart the computer to be able to use is again (even ctr+alt+del didn't work!).

Do you have alternate suggestions? Thx.!
