flash player not working

checking flash player on my computer it is down loaded and enabled.  i see the clouds moving on the window used to see if flasplayer is down loaded.  checked everything in the trouble shooting section of the tutorial.  still doesn't work.  what am i missing.  the old version 9 worked fine until some one changed something.  then i started getting the message you have to down load latest version of flash player in order to play the music.

Do you see bounching Flash icon here : http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/
