Peru Bob Aug 31, 2013 2:40 PM (in response to PaperClipFilms)What are the pixel dimensions and file extension of the still?
What is your sequence setting?
Does video play ok?
Is it just that one still or all stills?
What are your system specs?
Also, what version of PPro?
Windows or Mac?

Ann Bens Sep 1, 2013 6:59 AM (in response to PaperClipFilms)This is going nowhere.
Post a screen shot of the timeline
with clip selected in the Project window and Preview window on.
Also make a screendump of the sequence properties.
Can you play other stills?

Bill Hunt Sep 1, 2013 12:44 PM (in response to PaperClipFilms)Does your PNG have an Alpha Channel?
It sounds like what you are seeing is the Alpha.
Good luck,
